Landscaping

Project Overview

This property was in need of a complete makeover. Overgrown trees, vines, sheds, and old greenhouses had become unsafe, unattractive, and were taking up valuable space. The client wanted to clear the property, improve its appearance, and make it easier to maintain.

The project included removing unwanted vegetation and structures, constructing a new driveway and car park, replacing an old hedge with a new fence, and preparing the property with fresh topsoil and grass seed.

Our Process

Client Consultation

We met with the client to discuss their vision, budget, and priorities. Once a plan was agreed upon, the new driveway and work areas were marked out ready for construction.

Driveway Preparation

The existing driveway was excavated and boxed out before being rebuilt with AP40. The new base was compacted and left to settle while the remaining work on the property was completed.

Fencing

The existing hedge was removed, and the ground was levelled in preparation for the new fence. Fence posts were concreted into place before the rails and palings were installed. The fence line was also lowered near the driveway entrance to improve visibility when entering and leaving the property.

Demolition & Site Clearance

Old sheds and greenhouses were safely demolished, with all waste removed and disposed of appropriately. The site was then levelled and prepared for the final landscaping stage.

Finishing Works

The driveway received a final trim and compaction, with crusher dust and water used to create a smooth, durable surface ready for chip sealing. Fresh topsoil was spread across the property, followed by grass seed to establish a new lawn. The chip sealing was completed by a specialist subcontractor, providing the client with a high-quality finished driveway.

Project Outcome

The property was transformed into a clean, tidy, and functional space. With a new driveway, car park, fencing, and fresh lawn, the client now has an attractive property that is easier to maintain and enjoy.
